Ronni Nicole Skirts

Our skirt collection is built on silhouettes that truly flatter — gently defined A-lines, tailored pencils and fluid midi shapes. Cut in travel-friendly fabrics, they move with you from Monday mornings to Saturday nights.

Skirts built around real bodies

A truly flattering skirt is a small miracle. It should skim the hip, sit comfortably on the waist, hang evenly when you walk, and keep its shape through a full day of wearing. That is exactly what Ronni Nicole skirts are engineered to do. We draft patterns on live fit models across our size range so that each silhouette behaves predictably on different body shapes.

We favour mid-weight, drapey fabrics that have enough body to define a silhouette without adding bulk. A lightly lined finish protects modesty on brighter days and provides a smoother line over tights or hosiery in winter.

Our signature cuts

The A-line midi

Our A-line midi skirt is the category bestseller. A softly flared silhouette skims the hip and moves beautifully with each step. The waistband is shaped and interfaced rather than elasticated, which keeps the line clean when tucking in a blouse or a fine-knit jumper.

The tailored pencil

Our pencil skirts are cut with a gentle rear-vent and sit just below the knee. A subtle stretch in the fabric keeps them comfortable for long workdays, and the high waist elongates the torso for a flattering proportion. Pair with a tucked shirt and a fine v-neck jumper for a time-honoured office look.

The pleated midi

Fine, pressed pleats create movement and a gentle grace that can't be replicated in a flat skirt. We cut our pleated midis in fluid satin-back crepe and matte jersey, with a stretchy waistband for all-day ease.

The bias-cut slip

For softer dressing, our bias-cut slip skirts fall with an effortless drape and work brilliantly over the colder months with boots and a chunky sweater, or in summer with sandals and a camisole.

Fabrics that travel well

Travel-friendly performance is baked into our approach. Our crepe and jersey skirts resist creases beautifully, meaning they roll into a suitcase and emerge ready to wear. A light steam is usually all that is needed to freshen them up. For occasion pieces we occasionally use satin, jacquard or delicate lace — always paired with a proper lining and clearly labelled with care instructions.

How to style a Ronni Nicole skirt

  • Office: a pencil skirt with a silk shirt, a fine v-neck jumper and court shoes creates a polished, timeless outfit.
  • Weekend: layer a pleated midi with a soft T-shirt, a longline cardigan and white trainers for a relaxed, modern look.
  • Evenings: a bias-cut slip with a camisole and a tailored blazer transitions effortlessly from pre-dinner drinks to late-night plans.
  • Seasonal transitions: swap tights and boots in winter for bare legs and sandals in summer — the same skirt can work for nine months of the year.

Choosing your length

Most of our skirts are available in more than one length, and we publish the exact hem measurement on every product page. As a rough guide: our midi length sits at mid-calf on someone 5'6" tall, while our knee-length sits just above the knee and our maxi falls to the ankle. If you are between heights, checking the length listed on the page against a similar skirt in your wardrobe is the most reliable approach.

Sizing and fit

Our skirts are cut to be true to size. Customers with a smaller waist and a fuller hip often find our A-line cuts particularly flattering, as the waistband is proportionally smaller than a straight-cut skirt. Full measurements are published in our dress size chart, and our customer reviews often include helpful fit notes from shoppers of a similar shape or height to yours.

Care and value

Machine-wash our jersey and crepe skirts inside out on a cool, gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Hang to dry rather than tumbling — they will keep their shape much longer. With sensible care, a Ronni Nicole skirt will be a wardrobe staple for many seasons, often becoming one of the lowest cost-per-wear items you own. Our sale page features rotating reductions on skirt favourites all year round.

Pattern & Print

Prints painted in-house

Our seasonal prints are often developed by our own design team using hand-painted motifs and watercolour studies. Expect considered florals, modern geometrics and subtle abstracts — never loud, always wearable.
